Painting with Christmas Lights
Author: chromacody Category: ExperimentalPhotography is often a very literal art – capturing slices of life that are realistic and immediately identifiable. Sometimes, though, it’s more fun to use the camera as a paintbrush, creating abstract works with no clear reference.
Here, I left the shutter open while pointing at a Christmas tree, and played with the zoom and focus while moving around. The results are not heavily edited, except that some have inverted colors.
